You research companies and clients with whom you would like to work. Find their business issues and problems that you can solve. You contact the company via your contacts / LinkedIn and let them know what you can do for them.

STAGE 4: YOU LAND THE ROLE / ASSIGNMENT

You network, approach employers, consultancies and potential clients in an intelligent, focused and targeted way

You need to have a real understanding of your unique selling proposition – what make you different? Why should someone employ you? What value do you add? How are you motivated? You need to have your elevator pitch, and get your LinkedIn profile to evidence and demonstrate your

THEN

You need to research clients, examine their business, search for any issues and then write a proposal suggestion of how you can solve their pain or problem. You do not talk about YOU to clients – you talk about how you can help THEM.

AND IT IS A MATCH
